Although the following news is by no means a cause for alarm, internet security experts are keeping a close eye on the matter. That is because a flaw in firewall design could potentially allow for smartphone data traffic to be hijacked. As a result, phishing scams, misleading messages, and other kinds of mischief may plague the targeted device exposing the unsuspecting user at risk...

Ok, I'll take that second change...like megadirk said, Android won't install anything you don't allow it to..., so basically if someone was an idiot...like you and just installed and allowed any app to be installed,... they're just asking for it...it doesn't matter if the OS is secure or not, just if the user is an idiot or not...Was that so hard to understand?... Kid OS fanboy?

so then this article has no place here in PA as most of you don't allow it? it should run in the newspaper so the Android users that don't visit tech websites can see this. Agree with you on that you should never allow downloads from xyz places , but you know what it happens and it happens as often that is an issue here.. making it unsecure, which brings me to my point. Android is unsecure... for most people..

don't waste your time talking to an android user, android its like a public WC every one can s**t in it.
IOS control each application before put it in apple store ... for that reason APPLE IS MORE SAFE THAN ANDROID

The unassigned code that will be supposedly installed, once again, will have to be allowed by the user. Nothing gets installed without the user's say so on any current mobile OS, even if you have the "allow unknown sources" box checked on the Android OS.
