Fire sale helps put HP TouchPad on top of non-Apple tablets sold in 2011

According to data obtained by the NPD Group, HP's fire sale early this year of its webOS powered HP TouchPad allowed the device to be on the top of the list of non-Apple tablets sold thus far in 2011; with a 17% market share of the tablet market, HP barely edged out Samsung which had a 16% slice of the pie...

HP is now only kept alive by brand recognition, their PCs are unreliable and their service is horrible.

hp does alot more then most people know....... like most of the companies u know and love.... they actually own alot of shares in....
