Galaxy S7 design, LG G5 always-on screen and new Snapdragons: Weekly news roundup
Once again, it is time for our weekly news round-up, where we put the most interesting stories from the past seven days for anyone who needs to catch up.

We had the obligatory barrage of rumors regarding the soon-to-be-unveiled Galaxy S7, including live images and press renders which confirm the tapered back and camera unit that is flush with the rear surface. LG also started prepping us for the G5, announcing a case for it that gives us a peak into the "always-on" screen feature. LG also announced a new X-series of phones that will be showcased at the MWC, which will bring some of its flagship features downstream.

Qualcomm had a big announcement, too, also bringing some of its flagship chipset options, like LTE Cat. 9 and 4K video recording to the midrange, but the more interesting unveiling was its dedicated chipset for wearables - Snapdragon 2100 - as well as the world's first Gigabit class LTE modem. Check out what happened last week in the slideshow below.
