I get 2.1 Mbps download and 300k upload for my speeds with AT&T. Wow, 200k is like EDGE in my area.

So it's fine for U.S. phone subscribers to complain about their 3G services, but when it's the French, they don't have any credibility? Who is PhoneArena to decide which countries have credibility in complaining about their services? What a joke.

When have the French ever had credibility? Phonearena is spot on for once!

I am not quite sure about PhoneArena questionning the credibility of the French, my english is not good enough. As for the comment above, and having been working in the telecommunication business both in France (10 y) and in the US (5 y), I think I am able to say that the state of telecom in quite advanced in France vs US. With close to 60 millions cell phones (1 per inhabitants including babies), I think the French quite have the credibility and the right and the knowledge to praise or complain about telecom services. (Apple is no fool, they did choose France as one of the first five countries to deploy iPhone4 because France is the country where Apple has the highest market share worldwide). Yes we do have a reputation for always complaining, but without people complaining and arguing, you still would be chatting with your next neighbor using smoke signal, but maybe this is what you do ... what's your bandwidth ? 1 bit per second ? you happy ? go ahead, keep paying ! If ADSL is quite cheap here (avg $35 for up to 24mbps), 3G is quite expensive, for ex a 1h voice + unlimited data (hum, in fact unlimited means you get 1 gb full speed and then unlimited at half speed), comes for a monthly of $55 ... I think that just that amount gives the right to complain.

I get 1.5 Mbps to 3... with AT&T You know, I think people have unrealistic expectations of how fast their cell phone data speeds should be. This isn't cable internet...
