Famous jailbreaker rants on Twitter about 'kid paint' iOS 7, ready to go Android
The renowned jailbreaker Pod2g took to Twitter yesterday to express his rage with what iOS 7 has done with his beloved apple mobile OS. He seems to be especially miffed with the design, which is pretty subjective, and the new features, which might not be new for something like Android, but that doesn't mean Apple shouldn't introduce them in the first place, quite the opposite.

As for the bugs and lag he found, it's quite an early beta effort of what is the biggest redesign in iOS history, so there will be a lot of kinks to be worked out still, alongside battery optimizations. Here's his full rant on Twitter:

After a few days of iOS 7 beta 1 testing, I must admit that I am about to switch to an Android device. IMHO, this version of iOS is the worst move Apple did in a long time.

iOS 7 design is awful, it’s slow, battery life time is the worst ever, it’s full of UI bugs and crashes. OK it’s beta 1, but still… I am pretty disappointed by the features I’ve seen in iOS 7. No revolution here. No big news. Just kid painting.

it is good news, clever people always welcome in Android community! Seems that even honored iOS community heroes are eventually admitting disappointment about iOS and Apple's apathy. :)

i don't think this guy will be useful to the android community because he doesn't like changes...and google doesn't like to give the same look to android every year, they like to change android and add features regularly...
themes, features etc can be changed by a jailbreak...so how can a hacker complain about the features?...the main reason for jailbreaking and rooting is to change the ui, icons, add features etc...if the original build comes with everything, then what is the use of the hackers?...

This guy is a developer and I'm sure that he will release his creativity on Android.

"...if the original build comes with everything, then what is the use of the hackers?"

I think that questions like this just shows that in this sphere you are not very competent.

No, I don't agree with you. As I have already said, this guy is a developer and I'm sure that he will find how to release his creativity on Android since he decided to move on Android.
Or you think that you know better what he wants than he self?

i don't care about his choices...why would i? i am using an android phone...and the ipad 3
and PS...a developer is different from a hacker...he is not famous for developing i.e, making games and apps, he is famous for jailbreaking idevices...
now if u are one of those people who agrees that every person knows what is good for himself, then why are you against ios users? what makes you think that you know better than what they want and what they need?

"...developer is different from a hacker..."

Hacker is developer, just develops different things than usual developers does.

"...why are you against ios users?"

I'm not agains iOS or Apple product users, I just don't like certain group of Apple product users. ;)

i would say that a developer is the one who develops/creates and the hacker is the one who cracks and exploits the software created by the developer...

Yes, you are right! But don't forget that hackers also writes exploits and programs which are used to hack devices or crack other programs and it is also called development since they creat these tools, these tools doesn't come from nowhere.

that's different from development...
let me give you an example...
a developer is like the mother who gives birth to a person and the hacker is like the doctor who performs cosmetic surgery on the person...the cosmetic surgery will change the person's look but he is still the same person and the doctor isn't his/her mother...
now a person can choose to be a hacker or a developer or both but a hacker isn't a developer...
a person can be a businessman and a philanthropist if he wants, but that doesn't mean that business and philanthropy and business are the same

I understand what you are saying but I disagree with you. Hackers are also developers, developers and hackers are the same programmers just write different things. Hackers not only modifies something they also creat tools for hacking purposes and so on.

in contrast, most of the developers never make tools...they use tools to make software...
anyways, i don't want to give more explanation...if u still believe that they are the same, its okay with me because we have already spent a lot of time on this...

i think you are strange...you don't know what you like and you don't know what you hate...but you don't want to be neutral

"You MUST accept that what I have said is right..."

The first things that popped into my mind when I read this:

Must accept? Who the F are you?

Oh ok. So tell me is the Earth flat? Don't worry, whatever you say I MUST accept it as correct.

don't poke your nose in the middle...
now i won't reply to you even if you abuse me and try to provoke me because i don't think you are worthy enough to get another reply from anyone...
if u want to spend more time in reading my comments and in replying to me, then just do it...but you won't get a reply from me because i won't waste my time in reading your comments and in replying to you...i don't think you are worth it...
go ahead, say whatever you want

Maybe in U.S. iPhone is cheap device but in Asia and Europe iPhone is highly overpriced and here also exist trend that if you are some kind of businessman then iPhone is kind of "must have" to show off. And now when Apple has changed iOS 7 user interface to this "colorful" as some people call it "childish" user interface, I think that even part of these "businessmans" will stop buying iPhones because iOS 7 no longer gives a solid look.

Yes, I hate Apple and I never had hided that, but I hate Apple just as a company. About tech I always say what I think without any bias even if it is Apple's product.

P.S.
Next time try to use full words instead of separate letters. :)

If you took the time and went to Pod2G twitter page you would've found out that this guy was making a joke... Those guys paid money for that ios7 beta 1, so believe it that HE's a Apple lover through and through. And not switching to android. I would guess he owns a Android device though.
