I still have the Nokia tune as my ringtone. The problem is i had to 'sideload' the original Nokia tune, since the ones that come with the Lumias are muddled/dumbed down and Windows Phone doesn't allow direct setting of ringtones.

You have to move the audio into the ringtones folder, through a computer, for it to appear on the ringtone selection.
Even if the music file is on the device, in the music library, you need to connect your device to the computer, find the music in the music folder manually, then make the copy of that file and paste it in the ringtones folder.

Even then, you can't choose a custom tone for the messages/alerts/emails.

I believe there's an app Nokia made specifically for that, it allows you to make a ringtone of any music file you have. Look it up.

The remix on Lumia's is kind of cool.

On a side note, I marked out when it turned up on the in-dash system of the old Corvette in the 2009 Star Trek movie...

My very FIRST PHONE :) good thing bout NOKIA phones back then you can change the cover and use a different color cast or a see through transparent cover. i miss the old days when we didn' have FANBOYS saying who's better than that. we just have phones that was just COOL.
