Earlier, we told you about how Facebook had pushed out updates for both its Android and iOS apps, and we told you about how the iOS app has been made a lot faster, but we've just learned exactly how Facebook pulled off the speed boost: it went native...

Downloaded it on my 4S, and iPad 3. It's wicked fast, and smooth...great job Facebook, and apple.

Why great job to Apple? I didnt know they co-wrote the app with Facebook.

I don't like native app. Prefer to have a choice to install apps that i would use.

Finally! The HTML 5 one was barely usable. Now this is something else.
