Facebook's new feature tells you local places that your best buds like

An upgrade to the Facebook app for iOS and Android brings a new feature called Nearby which shows local places that your bestest buds have checked in at, recommended or have liked; Facebook says it is an "early release" and that the technology will get better over time as more people use it and third party recommendations will be added in the future...
