Facebook's mobile ad revenue doubles in Q4

In a sign that it's mobile strategy is working, Facebook announced that its mobile ad revenue doubled in the fourth quarter, but despite that result, the increase failed to meet some unrealistic expectations on Wall Street; CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that the company will continue to spend money to add talent to help buildf more "mobile-first" services...

Regarding the Poke app - "A requirement that one finger needs to be on the screen to view the message prevents screenshots from being taken."
Oh yes, of course no one will ever be able to figure out a way to trick the software (or some other work-around) and manage to get a screenshot of something someone else thought would be erased moments later. Self destructing Maxwel Smart/Inspector Gadget message this is not.
Back on (titular) topic though... what were the quarterly profits? Doubling quarterly profits is good no matter what light you shine on it, but a little perspective would help. There's a bit of a difference say, from doubling $5 million as opposed to doubling $50 million.
