Facebook's Windows Phone app gets a major update: groups, filters and likes
Facebook for Windows Phone is probably one of the most popular apps on Microsoft’s platform, and with the latest update it becomes even better and bumps up the version to 2.3.

Making good use of the Metro UI, the updated Facebook application introduces news feed performance improvements, a brand new panorama design, a new profile design, banner images, enhanced navigation, support for Pages and Groups, the ability to view "likes" and filter the feed, setting post privacy along with some bug fixes.

It’s one of the biggest updates for the Windows Phone version of the application and is expected to hit the market some time today, so don’t hesitate to check out the link below and get the most up-to-date Facebook app for your handset.

I never even used the app when I had my WinPhone. It was able to do all this built-in to the OS without the need for a stand-alone app.

YAY! Now they might have time to fix the Android version so that it didn't SUUUCCCKK....

I find it about 100x faster using the mobile FB website instead of the actual app - and they both look the same anyways... Go figure.
