agreed, this is a terrible idea. so, who would then have rights over my personal images? what if my personal birthday images were to start a global uproar like certain fifteen minute clips? would my personal pictures be banned in certain parts of the world? because if i go there to visit and want to show off my birthday pictures on facebook and they are gone!!!! noooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

The same terms would apply as normal photo uploads to FB. And if you read the article, nothing is automatically posted, just automatically uploaded to a private album.

Yep, I use Google+'s automatic upload service to back-up my pics and it works pretty well, I'm just trying to avoid Facebook, but everybody uses it so...

I don't care about what a lot of people use. I like G+ because I can easily get my photos out if I want. I just don't like that photos are automatically downgraded, no matter what. If Facebook uploads full res images over WiFi, that would be really nice.

i understand that but i still don't want anybody else's servers automatically handling every single picture that's taken by my camera.

Luckily, services like this are always opt-in so far, so you don't have to worry about that.

thats what its really all about man because, as the article says, their are alot of people who have been asking for a better facebook app.......so this really pertains to that specific crowd not so much others that use other social sites such as google plus, twitter or tumblr......the way i look at it, its another win for android and another step forward for better development with apps such as these but also motivation for other OS's and carriers to wanna improve in this area (apps) as well..... :)
