Facebook for BlackBerry 1.6 now available

After waiting some time, it finally looks like the latest version of the Facebook application for BlackBerry will be made available. The social networking web site has been upgrading the app to allow some new features in the 1.6 version. You can now update your status and highlights from the home page, access your wall, and use a slide show format for your photos. It will also support three new languages – Thai, Indonesian, and European Portuguese. We're sure that there are plenty of people out there drooling over this latest incarnation. It's going to be even more simple to get in touch with Facebook on your nifty BlackBerry device. Head on over to the web site to download the latest version and tell us what you think.

WOW!! it it such a big improvement, i didn't even have to go to the mobile site. it works very well with the storm!!

I'm loving the new app on my 8900. It works similar to the MySpace app on my 8900.
