FCC shows new Firefly kids phone for CDMA networks

The new Firefly kids phone will operate on CDMA 800/1900 Mhz bands and seems to be identical with the GSM version, currently available from Cingular. It has phonebook capacity of 20 contacts, which are added by parents, with 2 dedicated “Mom” and “Dad” keys. The display is greyscale with a variety of backlight colors. The FCC documents don't reveal information on carrier availability.
