FCC approves VK Mobile VK4500 slider

The FCC just approved the VK Mobile VK4500 global quad-band GSM phone. Back in March, the VK2010 and VK2020 also got FCC approval, but unlike them, the VK4500 is not 0.35” thin bar-designed phone, but twice thicker- 0.7” slider. When opened – its keypad reminds the popular Motorola RAZR – flat, backlighted in blue. The VK4500 has 176x220 pixels 262k color display, which is way larger then the units used in 2010 and 2020, and also has 1.3-megapixel camera with digital zoom. The VK4500 measures 3.9" x 2.0" x 0.7" (98 x 49.5 x 17 mm).

There is no information on it coming to any US carrier, but as a quad-band GSM with FCC approval, it can launch really soon…
