I own the Radar so I'm good for the update.

Unfortunate that they won't upgrade it to Windows Phone 8. It's bitter sweet that at least Microsoft will give existing Windows Phone users the Windows Phone 8 experience but it's too bad that it won't support everything. But I feel Windows Phone 7.8 will be enough until my next upgrade and then I can decide if I want to stay on Windows Phone or go back to Android or try something new.

It's great to have choices.

That's it. I am switching to Android.....My HTC Hotwing is for sure getting the ICS. Wait a minute....You say its not? Screen resolution, processor, and roller ball aren't supported by ICS? Well panty smeared with poo. Well then, I will use my super yo iPhone 4. It looks identical to the current model so it should get all of the new goodies, right? No? AARRRGGGHHH!!! Fine. I am going to get the "new" Blackberry Bold. I looks dope and part of my brain still thinks a good physical keyboard may come in handy just like the 9MM that I keep loaded under my bed...in case my neighbors start trying bath salts. What? It most likely wont be updated to the Blackberry 10? Well piss on me. What will I do?

life is not fair but Microsoft would be wise to help current windows smart phones trade in their old Windows 7 series smart phone for a brand new windows 8 smartphone this action would
help the current smart phones owners get an advanced windows smart phone and the fame and respect they get from doing this is the best damn advertisement they could ever get to help make a name for their smart phone and get them new smart phone customers

That will never happen because it makes sense to do.

Hi,
Does WP 7.8 will have multitasking and Nokia Maps ? This would be, for me, nicer than new start screen.

At least they're honest and not giving existing devices WP8 with less functions.

I hope the Windows Phone 7.8 stopgap wont be the final nail in the coffin for Nokia, as many may hold off buying that Lumia until WP8 comes along. I'm not sure Nokia with all it's eggs in the Windows basket, can buy that much time. I hope that I'm wrong.
