Eten releases WM 6 updates for X500 and M700

The Taiwanese manufacturer of Windows Mobile powered Pocket PC phones, Eten, today announced that it will offer its customers the option to update their Glofiish devices to Windows Mobile 6. This way the customers will be able to enjoy the benefits of the new OS without purchasing new hardware. The positive sides of the 6 version consist not only of new functionality, but also of has less bugs and more offers more optimized work.

The updates will be available via ROM files which will be downloadable from the glofiish website. They are scheduled for the second quarter and the first are expected to be released in May.
