i don't know why, but I'd still buy a Nokia over an LG anyday.

it really doesn't matter what band you buy when it comes to WP7 devices, so the reason would have to be because you're insane.

don't u think u r the insane here, Have u heard of the exclusive apps of nokia lumia which all work on 610 and the more exclusive games to come? lets see how many updates the year and half old lg optimus 7 compared to any 6 month nokia lumia.nokia will win triumphantly(i assume u r not stupid enough to count or think that i am talking about the microsoft main updates like mango or tango).besides lg build quality is miles far behind any nokia, don't tell me that u will leave all that behind and go for an lg because of a few seconds lag when opening a hungry app

Not sure what the point is with this "epic" video? Obviously a device with a faster processor and more memory will overall be slightly more snappy?
The point of the Lumia 610 is to drive the WP range lower, and comparing it price-wise to a year-old phone makes little sense, imo. Once the launch hype of a phone passes, the price will of course fall. In just a few months the Lumia 610 is probably half the price anyway.
The main takeway from a video like this should be what he says at the end, that WP is fluid and smooth even on a low-end device, which is what the target group for this phone (and up-coming even cheaper devices) will be interested in when compared to laggy droids at similar price points.
Must add though, that the title of this article is just ridiculous. "Epic", "lowly Lumia 610", "raging Mango"... what is the author trying to prove?

Well said. The segment that the Tango WP's for is the developing markets and eventually the pre-paid segment. Obviously, Androids in those segments do not outperform solid top-end or mid-tier devices that run Android either. Tango will be a solid offering for it's segment, and a stupid buy for anyone else.

honestly i think it shows the power of the optimizations that windows has to run so well on a mid and low system. Love android, but you would never see such smoothness on a low end device. Of course that comes with the obvious trade offs that WP7 just like iOS is a non-true multitasking device that gives priority to animations where Android gives the same priority to everything and multitasks.. which takes more power.
Once that nokia is like 50 bux+ on prepay it will be a nice seller.

So you decide to go out naked instead of wearing something,?
Same thing applies for Android

If anything I'm more impressed that WP runs so well on low end hardware.

if you do not have an LG Optimus 7 next to your nokia 610 then you will not notice a thing

Who cares if 1.6% Apps doesn't work on 256mb devices...
Can you run Nova 3 on Galaxy y...??

Yeah and at least Microsoft warns user about incompatibility , in Android once you buy and you can't use it, you are screwed haha
