Email bug affecting Gmail users on Windows Phone 8?

It appears that there are some synchronization issues with Gmail and Windows Phone 8's People Hub and email app...

My Contacts never would even sync to the People Hub. I had no issues with email, but don't trust Gmail for anything other than Play/Market Emails. In the end I just "cut the cord" and ditched them. Exported my contacts to Outlook CSV and Imported them on Microsoft's New Outlook site. Syncing from the Outlook site to my phone works fine (Looks like the issue is on Google's side).

The only issue I have is Google somewhat went away from standards and allowed contacts with tons of numbers and multiple Home numbers or multiple Mobile numbers. When imported in they get moved to the Notes section and I just moved them to Fax/Work/Pager spots to have them.

have not seen the video here
but i don't have any issue with gmail in windows 8.
