I remember quite time ago we had a copy of VLC for android.
There were two versions: one for the armv6 and the other for armv7.
The interface hasn't change eversince, and thats a good thing. Lets hope it plays 720p videos smooth, and battery efficient on my Desire.

so far in my Desire S, this beta version can't play 720p videos.. but i'm not sure about the official version..
