VZW fanboys = 1)Someone with the smarts/talent to get a job with such a selective company as VZW 2)Someone with good enough credit to be able to afford the best, most reliable service So go back to your crappy job and cry, or, if you're in the customer catagory, flock to Sprint since they've obviously suckered you into their way of thinking: 'cheap phone means great service'. The WinBack dept @ VZW is expecting your call, and, has already reserved a special spot in the queue just for your to port your number back our way.

why is everyone complaining about prices. For the record til the phone is actually replace the price can change. I know its hard to bellieve but not all information that is release to the public by an "insider" is correct. why dont all ya'll get the sticks out your a** and just fucking wait and see how it all works out. its sad people start naming calling and talking s**t over companies that all suck. sprint, verizon. t-mo, and AT&T will all take as much money from you as they could. they all dont work all the place. to be honest not one company is top notch about the other. though i do want to point out before you go to sprint, check them out. I personally dont think sprint will be around in 3 years. EVERYONE GET OVER THEMSELVES!!!!!!!!!!

I hear this a lot, but I have to ask: why would you care whether Sprint will or will not be around in 3 years? Because they have had som many problems and are trying to attract business, they are offering the best rates around. As long as they have good service in your area, take advantage of the great pricing and if they go out, so what? You can port to a new company. No big deal. If they get taken over, no problem. The new owner will have to honor your contract or let you walk without an ETF. I really don't see the downside.

Not that i personally care, but they sold a major amount of their towers to turn around and rent the use of them to save money. yes they after best deals around but cheaps deals comes at a price from a company that was already in th red. jsut read up on sprint and their money woes. In the long run all that majors are people are crying over something that isnt even set in stone. they are taking 2nd hand information. just wish people would grow up and just "wait and see" what really happens.

This is what I'm talking about. Sprint sold their towers and signed a long term lease with the new owner. All of the carriers lease at least a portion of their towers. It doesn't affect me whatsoever as a customer. They still own the spectrum. No big deal.

Why does VZ insist on pricing the Saga so high when it is really just a rebadged Blackjack that goes for about $99 on other networks?

Because they arent the same chief, the Saga is a CDMA Epix.

It is much less attractive than either the Blackjack or the Epix. That is one thing holding me back from ordering it today. I love the looks of the Blackberry Storm. I might wait for next Friday for that. Although, if I have my way, I will have both because the phone I am sending back is priced higher than either the Storm or the Saga. Verizon won't credit my account or refund my money, so I asked them to send me both phones and open another line on my family plan. I don't need to smartphone data plans though. Might have them suspend one line and switch back and forth. I will say this. Lots of people think the Blitz is ugly and weird looking, but I have it and think it's adorable. It isn't any match for a smartphone since it is a phone for texting, but I use that phone a lot and like to text on it. I did have to replace it once so far. The screen went totally white.

has anyone else noticed how they changed the keyboard on the touch pro? im not liking it. i liked the original because it was so much like a real keyboard. one other thing that is confusing is how they decided not to round out the edges like they did on the original.

Verizon has to cripple the team that put policies in their handsets selection

Verizon has to hire new modern and sophisticated talents who understand the need and the use for technology.

I have read thesepost many times over the last year in a half. And You people are all f**king nutcases. Get a f**king life. Oh i hate verizon, oh sprint sucks, poor me they are robbing me blame. Welcome to big business baby. Neither you bitch cause you dont get treated like a princess enough and they they dont just hand you service on a fucking gold plated platter, or your whining cause you didnt take the damn time to read you contract BEFORE you sign for service. Heres a clue, use it. Every provider has their Customer Agreement on their website. I know its a shock, but take a deep breath sit, back relaxed. Its your f**king money people you work hard for it. Take the time and research a company, learn their policies know what your getting into. Every one of their cell providers discloses most of their details up front, (i say most cause sometimes there is a agent that is lying or somethinghas change) all these companies train there people to honest and upfront. But how many people on here can say they do something 100% of the time as they were taught. these companies are not perfect. So its up pto you the customer to educated youself and protect yourself

Now first let me say that i am not a VZW employee trying to hype up a product I am just guy trying to give info to the masses. So alot of people have been wondering about the Omnia and the specs the VZW version will have in comparison to the GSM version. I personally know the Omnia hit the VZW kiosk in my store on Tuesday afternoon but there was no pricing for it as of yet. Im thinking 500 to 550 for this phone considering how much it can do in comparison to other winmo phones that VZW offers. Last night after work i talked to one of the sales guys to ask him to let me see a open unit they have and he agreed. I had a total of 45 minutes with the phone to test the many features it offers. My major goal was to see if VZW crippled the phone. You all know what i mean....... stuff like removing WIFI, lowering the camera resolution, locking down the gps and removing any special features such as the radio or the secondary camera on the face. Well after my little play time i know for a fact that the phone is identical to the GSM version except that the GPS is locked down. In comparison to the Storm i would say that they both have there pros and cons but my vote for the Omnia. If any one is asking or wondering "did you test the Storm as well" i can say yes i did. Personally i was considering one of these phones and i would have to say that the Omnia gets my vote hands down. Here are some of the factors that lead me to my conclusion. The Storms interface seems a bit slow even with the update to the software. Its to heavy and wide for my taste and ill be honest i dont think the onscreen keyboard is that great. Now ive used windows mobile phones for the last 3 yrs so maybe im a little biased. Remember this is just one guys opinion so dont flip out and post any BS on this site unless you have facts to back it up.

People stop whining about the price of the Touch Pro! Just do what i did and call CS and ask them to talk to a supervisor. I asked them why they were charging $519.99 when i could get the same phone from Sprints for $349.99. I told them i wanted the same price as the Sprint version seeing as how they are identical. I ended getting the phone for $349.99 and i was still able to use my advanced data credit, Ne2 and i got the $50 rebate of instantly. In end it was $99.99 for the phone. Not bad i would say. The key is to tell them what you want, why you want it and how much your gonna pay and for the love of god make sure you have your facts in order. What i mean is having both sprints web page and verizons opened on your computer with the pricing. This way when they ask you can say hey ive got the pricing right here and hopefully if your calm and direct you will get the results you wanted. If not you can always switch to a different carrier.
