=/ Cant they limit the amount of phones they have to back up so they aren't stuck with reduced support to the end users?

It look the exact same and it seems slow. and the interface suck, like evo 3d is the bestphone cleary. the evo line is way better than the droid line evo kills droid x. the evo shift kills the droid 2 and droid 3

Here we go again with the 4D phones. Now the Evo Shift 4D has travelled into the near future to kill the Droid 3. Pity, I was really looking forward to that phone.

Don't worry fandroids. I'm sure they'll release another droid device again next week or so, with about the same features as this one. Maybe add something here and then take away something there :)

Or we could all be offered the same perfect phone for an entire year.
I agree that there are only incremental improvements from one model to the next, but at least they're keeping up with the latest technology. I liken this to the car industry, where they upgrade models every 2-3 years. It's good for competition and good for the consumer.

I actually completely agree with him. A new Android phone always comes out. And the Android fans always go and troll all the other articles and make superfluous statements and comparisons as to how they're Android device is so much better than some Apple device. He's just returning the favor.

so we see more fandroid retuning the favor too?
and then more idrones do the same?
and then we change the name to kinderarena.com because every comment is about hate like as if we where a bunch of kids?
with that logic a new iPhone comes out bringing some small changes to it, phone manufacturers have to make phones you know?

Same recycled garbage comment from the usual hatred. Just laughable.

Motorola you better shape up quick, Your losing your biggest customers with these lame decisions. First the Xoom pricing disaster (which by the way had the potential to change the game forever), then Atrix being Att exclusive, possibly scrapping the bionic for the who knows when will be released targa. Now you make a droid x2 that looks EXACTLY like the Droid X i have in my pocket. Get it together Moto seriously.

you can say its just me but.... cant people actually change the moto logo on the boot loader? just saying

I've been as suspicious about this being an actual new phone as you, but it's not impossible, especially given the success of the Droid X. This would just be the first time someone other than Apple put a new phone in an old body.

My wife has a Droid X. I don't care for the camera bulge. I would rather have the entire (new) phone thicker by a few fractions of an inch (though not as thick as the current camera bulge) and make it uniform so it would slide more easliy into a pocket, and wouldn't feel as awkward when held in landscape mode. Maybe up the battery to a 1700 mAh unit also.

I have not rooted or overclocked my DROID x. All I did was manually install 2.3 and that's a pretty awesome score. 2.3 has really made the DROID x a fast device and has made me love it all over again.
