Dr. Phil celebrates his birthday by giving away 300 Palm Pixi handsets
Share:
Apparently the good doctor is going to prescribe attendees of his show with a solid dose of webOS goodness in the form of a Palm Pixi. Although it's not stated which version of the handset he'll be giving out, approximately 300 units will be on hand to be handed out and will find themselves with a new owner. Not only is the doctor getting the love from his audience, but he's making extra sure that they're going to leave away with a warn fuzzy feeling.

He couldn't had picked a crappier phone!..whatta loser..my mom ran into him in a grocery store some months ago..she asked how do he do what he does to help people...his reply "I tell them what they want to hear, it's an ego mentality"...REALLY!!

He's probably getting paid to "give" away Palm Pixies. I work for Verizon and I get paid to sell a Palm Pixi for free simply because they are adding a $30 data plan to use the phone.

I never quite understand users who troll posts about mobile devices simply to spout off some rubbish or spew hateful rhetoric no matter if Palm, iPhone , Droid or etc. On this particular one I'd say Pre's and Pixi's are doing quite well, are about to get even more coolness with webOS 2 and if Dr. Phil (or his handlers) decided that was the phone to hand out I wholly expect everyone who gets one handed to them at the show to grasp it tight and smile bright as opposed to handing it back with some rediculous statement like "No thanks, it's a shitty phone" or "I dont want a Palm Pixi". LOL. Dont like Palm?....who cares. Choose another and stop yer whining. Peace.
