Does consumers want mobile TV or not?
Separate studies, performed by Nokia and InsightExpress reveal rather conflicting results in reference to consumers' attitude towards mobile TV service. Nokia's trials in Europe show that consumers enjoy the idea of TV on their mobile phones. Moreover, they are willing to pay additional 5 to 10 euros a month in order to get it. According to InsightExpress's survey released by RBC Capital Markets, however, 75 per cent of the 1,001 Americans surveyed are not interested in watching TV programs or movies on their handsets.
