Really? An OS issue? Clearly user issue. If you set your phone to be "silent" from 9PM to 6AM ... guess what? ... that is what it is going to do!

Anyone thinking that Android is perfect is fooling themselves. Why is the developer community so large?? Because people don't like the bugs from some Android features in Touchwiz, Motoblur, and Sense hell even AOSP.

I own both an iPhone 5 and Galaxy Note 1 and see the good and bad with both OS's. My Galaxy Note has its own set of bugs which has lead me to rotate to many different ROM's. Battery life is horrendous on the Note. Yes iOS is very simple to many, but apps that I use work and don't force close like some on Android. Meanwhile Android offers insert attachment in Emails and downloads from Websites.

End of the day both have the good and bad. On this site many hate one or the other. I am open minded.

You really should have expected the battery life on the Note though. Its a given. Smallish battery for a power hungry device.

Their key advertisements. I think the Do Not Disturb problem was just a fluke though due to the fiscal year. It was just bad luck. The previous two, I think were way too early to be released.

Well, iBeg to differ, Apple apps' do work [albeit, mostly on iWiFi] but, iDigress, unfortunately, Apple iPhones suffer a sort of New Years Day Doomsday; they have had some sort of time/calendar issue every New Years (January 1st) for the past three years. What iPhone owners should do this coming December 31, 2013, is just trade-in their "iDoomsday" phones for phones that don't short-circuit with the year numerically increasing by 1, like an Android phone (of course, all of their accessories will become obsolete faster than they usually do and they won't have any need for their routers, either. Or, EyeTunes).

Yep... and another minor gripe of mine to add would be that given this is phonearena, if you check their upcoming phones section their offerings are looking pretty sparse these days.

Seems they'd rather focus on click bait articles that stir up opposing "enthusiast" camps.
