Did Google leave Multi-Touch off Android at Apple's request?

There has to be ways around those Apple patents and I hope Palm exploits them. I own an Iphone and love using it but to think a company could control how I physically interact with a device I own is ridiculous.

This is ridiculous! Screw Apple. Don't tell me they can patent a finger gesture. And Google not using Android's potential is really annoying.

I agree but hey if they can do it why not. Companies are dumb enough to agree to things they might as well try. Ultimately it's up to the manufacturer/carrier to do what they want. Hate on Apple but all I can say is if you could get away with it, wouldn't you do it too?
