As i said, some people just hate mainstream devices for no reason, I hate bb just like Americans hate apple because iPhone is the mainstream device in the states and in my country bb is the mainstream device, know what I'm saying?

In addition, bb is overly overpriced, the bold 9900 (former rim's flagship) still sells for a hefty 500 bucks, yet people still buy it and considered it as a "rich and cool person's phone"

Full disclosure: I'm an Android fanboy. Admittedly so. Currently own a Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 as my daily devices. But I also love cool technology. Good technology. QNX(BB10 for the uninitiated) is AMAZING technology. And has so many more applications(from NASA software, to automobile software, to parking meter software and beyond)than most. BB10 will do quite well in this upcoming mobile computing age we're entering. Its already there. iOS and WP... Not so much.

And reports of Apple's slow spiral into nichedom are not exaggerated. Its already happening.

Current stats shows Android is besting BB in Q3-Q4 2012 (64% market share, IDC stat).
And you know clearly that Android = Samsung there.

Ok, great, it's not open source. What's your point? I own an HTC device and it takes months upon months for device to create/modify the kernal in such a way that will allow you to run the newest update. So what has open source done for me in terms of timely updates?

do i really need 5 inches phone to call and text someone? do i really need 5inches to see a movie? whats the use of a tv? and by form over function, making calls and sending msgs/emails browsing the web are the ones i do and i need. I have to admit I'm loyal to no one brand but if you put form over functionality doesn't that defeat the purpose of the usability of the device. That is short sighted mentality, you pick one brand over because it has a more glass like yet fragile substance and more prone to scratches over the other that just performs seamlessly with added extras that are actually quite useful? C'mon, no one is attacking Blackberry except one, I actually want Blackberry to do well and support them like they have supported me with software updates via the trusty Playbook i have and I'm no Apple hater, like I said I own and use every OS bar Windows Phone 8 (which is next on my shopping list btw) but it is silly when the only thing people attack others for using Android and Samsung for is the materials they use, that's like saying I should't drive a sports car because of the less exotic materials being used and because of the fact is uses lighter Carbon Fibre material over Walnut wood trim.

I plan on doing that. I will be moving on at the end of my contracts. The may have a lead in 4G and overall network size, but when you can't do any with the device you BUY on it, what's the point in being on their network?

As far as I know, the only pa's writer who use iPhone is Johnnnnnnnn V, michael h uses nexus 4, don't know the rest though

Either ios or android is a very functional os, it's just designed for an entirely different customers

Android = for those who love technology, tinkering with smartphones, making their phone as personal as they want to
iOS = for those who like to keep things simple, hazzle free, 'it just works', if you want a little bit of customization , just jailbreak it

Believe it or not, ios is more customizable than bb, yeah you must JB your ios in order to make it customizable, But in life if you wanna receive something you have to give something in return right?

With blackberry, what can you do? Only themes and that's about it, Hybrid os doesn't make your bb customizable, it only makes your phone faster

You really don't know about anything other than CrapApple and Android do you? If you did, you would know that Blackberry's have been highly customizable from putting themes(Launchers on Android)on your phone to putting two different iterations of the BB OS on your phone. Blackberry's have been and always will be highly customizable. Please learn about the OS before you attempt to bash it. You're only making yourself look even more foolish than you already are.
