Pictures of a Dell
-branded device have appeared on the Internet and seem to have caused quite a stir. According to the initial information, the device was to be offered through China Mobile and called the Mini 3i
. The rumor had it that the device would be running the manufacturer´s customized Android-based OS and sport a 3.5-inch display, 3-megapixel camera, microSD slot, Bluetooth and 950mAh battery. The company PR reps denied the information later and claimed the handset was just a concept model that wasn´t to sell.
According to BGR however, the Dell Mini 3i is codenamed Benzine and aside from the above mentioned functions will also feature a built-in A-GPS, Microsoft Exchange support and interface that allows multitouch and handwriting recognition. We hope Dell rolls out their first smartphone soon enough even if it doesn´t look like the device in the leaked pictures..
