Deal: get the 32GB Motorola Moto X Pure Edition with a limited-edition back cover at $399.99

Motorola has just debuted a neat little Valentine's Day promotion that can score you discounts on the Moto X Pure Edition, the 3rd-gen Moto G, and the 2nd-gen Moto 360.

To start off with what many will find the most interesting promotion, Motorola is now offering the 32GB version of the Moto X Pure Edition at $399, which is usually what the company asks for the 16GB variant of the phone. Furthermore, the Moto X Pure Edtion will also come with a limited-edition back cover created by American designer Jonathan Adler.

Previously, the limited-edition cases were priced at a $25 premium, meaning that the total discount is one of $75. There are three designs to choose from: Honeycomb, Half Circle, and Bridget. Unfortunately, you'll have to settle for the Moto X Pure version with a white front and silver accents.

At this point, it should be noted that $399 is a very attractive price for the 32GB version of the Moto X Pure Edition, a handset that we've found to be the best value-for-money phone of 2015. Before committing to a purchase, however, make sure that you read our full Motorola Moto X Pure review.

If the Moto X Pure is out of your budget, you might want to check out the 3rd-gen Motorola Moto G, another phone that offers a great bang for your buck. Motorola isn't offering any discounts on the phone itself, but the company is throwing in two additional shells for the phone at no additional cost. An extra shell for the 3rd-gen Moto G is usually priced at $14.99.

Moving on to the smartwatch sector, Motorola's Valentine's Day promotion also includes a promotion on the second-generation Moto 360. Just buy a 2nd-gen Moto 360 with a metal band, and Motorola will also throw in a leather band with the purchase. Outside of this promotion, leather bands for the 2nd-gen Moto 360 cost $49.99.

All three of Motorola's deals are valid through Feb. 16, 2016 at 10:59 a.m. CT.

What do you guys make of Motorola's Valentine's Day promotion? Is anyone tempted by the limited-edition Moto X Pure Edition?
