That (down to $0) was fast. Trying to clear inventory?

Yup. Most likely. 928 is just like the 822, it's sold only on a single carrier. They dont want extra stocks to be lying around for too long, considering how fast new successor models are made nowadays. 6 month interval to be exact (although they tend to be aimed at different target users).

L928 was just released on VZW. This is like maybe 60 days after release that VZW has dropped the price to $0. L822 was out at least 6 months before being dropped to $0.
Not making any issues. Just trying to understand why the early (premature?) drop.

most likly its the sign of next genration wp8.1 in pipeline so this genration stock has to be sold before they announce the next ones

I stopped by Verizon yesterday and played with this phone. The construction of it is impressive. I like the glossy feel it has to it. And it has a nice curve on the back of it that makes it comfortable in the hand. The screen is very crisp and clear. Seems better quality than 768p. I came away impressed with it.

Great phone. I'm currently rocking this and the GS3, but the camera on the Lumia is more impressive.

such a good deal. I would definitely go for it had it been on Sprint or had I been with Verizon.

I had this phone for a week, and my intent was to replace my HTC Trophy with it. Yeah, the apps are real cool, and the screen is really good. But my primary need is crisp calls, and I didn't see that happening. My older HTC seems to have crisper calls. I returned it. Going to wait for the next model.

Windows Phone doesn't sell. If you're on ATT, wait for Lumia 1020 price to drop sooner than expected.

windows mart phones are starting to sell look at the Nokia lumia 520 and 521 smart phones.
people are buying them and the nice thing is they are going to get some coming nice software updates to make them happy they bought them. I think Verizon is going to get the 5 to 6 inch
HD screen Nokia phablet with Nokia's famous 41 pixel camera on it. this will be Nokia's true Flagship smart phone.

This is just a temporary price drop.. For all the Android idiots.. WP isn't as popular as Android, bit that doesn't mean that its not a great experience. From time to time you will see more promotions for WP than Android devices, but its just a way of getting more devices in peoples hands, not a move of desperation.. iOS's market share is at 14%, and WP is at 4%.. With Android being at 80%, and the iPhone being at 14% do you consider the iPhone a popular, valid, smartphone?... I don't think that some of you understand just how many people have WP devices, so far.. Just think, WP is only behind iOS by 10%.. At the rate of WP's grow, and with it on a steady incline, it is very possible we might see WP surpass the iPhone in market share within the next two years, and it's probably imminent that WP will technically be more popular than the iPhone by 2017,, just three years from now... So, to say that WP devices aren't selling is fiction... Ridiculous.. Come from under the Android rock people..
