Deal: Blu Life Max on sale at Amazon for under £100, offers strong battery life and decent specs

Blu Life Max made its debut in the United States less than two months ago, and for a limited time, customers could grab the budget-friendly smartphone for just $80. The suggested retail price of Blu's handset was set to $129.99.

However, customers in Europe can now purchase the Blu Life Max for £89.99, about 18 percent cheaper than the phone's £109.99 full retail price. Amazon UK has it on sale right now, but the retailer doesn't mention whether or not this is a limited time deal.

What we do know is the main selling point of the Blu Life Max, as the name suggests, is the massive 3,700 mAh battery inside, which is supposed to offer up to 3 days “with standard usage.”

The rest of the phone's specs aren't that impressive, but offer decent stats for what you pay. The 1.3GHz quad-core processor inside is provided by MediaTek and is paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.

There's also an 8-megapixel primary camera on the back, as well as a secondary 5-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls. The Blu Life Max sports a 5.5-inch display with HD (720p) resolution, and ships with the previous version of Android, Marshmallow.

The Life Max supports GSM and LTE networks, so it should work with just about every European carrier, but in the U.S. it only compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile, and other GSM network operators.
