Dead man billed by Verizon, death certificate not enough proof says the carrier

The daughter of a deceased Verizon customer had to get her story heard by the media before Verizon would close the dead man's account...

It seems no matter which carrier u go with ur gonna have to real with some asshole in customer service down The way. I bet when verizon found out about this guy he had a nice talk. What an idiot.

I had a few problems with this issue, had a customer come in, saying "so and so" passed away, called CSR and they said they needed a death cirt., they went and got it, and when they cam back, we called CSR back and they said "that is the most un thoughtful thing I have heard", a customers DOESN'T NEED A DEATH CIRT., The CSR they talked to was an idiot...enough said.
