0. phoneArena 06 Oct 2013, 18:02 posted on

Sprint and Nextel are the defendants in a law suit filed by a father whose son purchased a new phone that already contained pornographic images on the device; the suit was filed in Los Angeles District Court by Arsen Garibyan. Back in October 2011, Garibyan purchased two new handsets from the carrier and both were brand new, each with their own box and instructions...

lol ... typical - Sprint selling used phones as new!! Hope the dad (and son) wins millions for his college edju'makashun!!

Sprint is so trite and trashy. I bet when the dad called customer service to complain he got someone in Pakistan (true Customer dis-Service)

guess you didnt read the article... they were not sprint employees... meaning it was a 3rd party store. And dont act like the other carriers dont have 3rd party stores, they all do.

It's a BS lawsuit and it should be thrown out. How can you sue the carrier for an act done by the employees of a retail store?

Especially a retail store that doesn't belong to Sprint. his only real chance at a lawsuit was to sue the company that owned the store. That's assuming he had done any homework at all instead of just seeing dollar signs in the form of porn.

He has zero chance of winning, and quite frankly it's a pathetic attempt on his part.

it is because he's a sprint customer... trust me, you'd be surprised at some of the crap customers will try to pull sometimes.

Sue the employees, not the store. True that.

But you also have to remember that lawyers are the scum of the earth.

Lol ya of course. Just couldn't help myself.

A lot of companies try to pass off returned products as new. For my mom's 56th birthday I bought her a brand-new tassimo coffee maker from Walmart and when she opened it in front of everyone it was somebody's used coffeemaker. It wasn't even a Tassimo lol

Luckily my mom grew up with 2 6'2, 195pound boys. She laughed it off and we both went in to chew someone's head off and get replacement the next day.
