The last date churned up by the rumor mill for the launch of the HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE on Verizon was June 21st. As that date quickly approaches, it seems that there might be some accuracy to that prediction...

If this is true, it would explain why Verizon is releasing the S III so much later than other carriers.

Hmm, not sure about that. The GSIII is meant to be high end while the Droid Inc 4G is meant to be mainstream as was the Droid Inc 2. Still, the hardware the Droid Inc 4G is packing is nothing to scoff at.

Good god, Verizon hasn't put out a phone with high-end hardware since the wheel was invented. Great network, clunky, low-benchmarking phones. Step it up, VZ. I am bored with your selection. Thanks.

Exactly. That was released almost 6 months ago AND with a slower processor than the GS2, which was about 8 months old at the time. Weak. Nice screen, though.

I don't think demand for the DI LTE is high enough to justify preorder. That's nothing against the handset, mind you, but it seems more like a niche device for people who want an iPhone-sized Android phone.
