A few other cool tweaks to download are Zephyr and Barrel, they are paid apps, but I'm sure there are repos that have them for free

I don't know about Zephyr but add this source if want Barrel for free, cydia.xsellize.com, it worked for me.

Anyone who jailbreaks don't add xsellize. I mean that is f you want your iphone semifinctional. Just pay for the apps. Or download better repos.

Thanks, by all means anyone share what they've found, as new things are starting to come out every hour after Absinthe, it seems :-)

you can find other applications through other sources from xsellize and sinfuliphone repo to get the paid applications for free.
unlock fx is awesome, to add animation anytime you open your phone. you can pair it with styleunlock and you can customize how to unlock your device.

Sinful iphone repo and xsellize are very bad sources. Don't download them. It will mess up your phone. And save your sshblob everyone. And these apps people are talkig anout if you download some weird apps your putting your phone at risk. Stick with the main cydia apps from trusted sources.

They may not be always top quality - but these are the repos with the most free stuff in them.

Regardless of quality its 1) illegal 2) your phone will crash if you download to mich stuff.

i been using these repos for years they dont mess up the iPhone

It will make your phone crash pretty bad. Use more discrete repos and your iPhone won't be much slower then stock!
26. Lucas777 posted on 23 Jan 2012, 22:39 0 0
uh i think sticking with the larger repos is better… u dont know what ur getting if u dont

dont' understand why people would wanna jail break their iphone if they want fully cutomised phone why wouldnt they buy any android phone out there?I understand there are some benefits but dont you think it creates some sort of security hole?

What if some of us bought an iPhone 4 EXPECTING Apple to make it much more user-customizable and be more like Android down the road?
*cough* me *cough*

Its more then customization that make people want to jailbreak. Its more about the little things.
27. E.N. posted on 24 Jan 2012, 17:08 0 0
yeah I'm gonna jailbreak for mainly free tethering/hotspot and also test applications before I buy. The customizing options are great, but I'd love my phone with or without them.
iPhone is smoother than Android, the UI is more colorful, the hardware is great, the App Store is second to none, camera is awesome, etc. Customization would be nice to have, but you have to keep in mind that for most people, customization isn't the deciding factor.
If customization is so important to you, definitely go for Android.

why do android people root? same exact explanation of why people jailbreak iphones....common sense.

sinful iPhone repo is another one I been using for years
22. biophone posted on 23 Jan 2012, 18:08 0 0
That a pretty immoral app to use. You can have some major problems with it. I would just buy the stuff from the appstore.

If any new jailbreakers have any questions about anything about Repositories just let me know.
23. biophone posted on 23 Jan 2012, 18:09 0 0
Dude its fine to use repos but the ones you recommend aren't ideal. Their are better ones out there. Don't mess up someone else's phones.

Everyone takes the chance jail breaking. They should know the risks. But I have been doing this since jail breaking started and never had major issues. Now if you download 2 tweaks that conflict the worse that happens is that the SB crashes. all you do then is go in and remove the last tweak installed.
On the other hand bio is right dont use those repos if you are scared.
