CyanogenMod 10 gets OTA nightly builds installed automatically with new CM Updater option
If you are running a CyanogenMod 10 ROM on your device, gracing it with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, you's be happy to know that the nightly builds can now be fed straight to your device, just like carrier OTA updates.

The team added a feature to About->Settings called CM Updater, which will connect to their servers, check for the latest nightly download, and install it on your device on request - it doesn't get any easier than that.

CM Updater will work for all the nightlies that appear from today onwards, but bear in mind that this is for stock CM10 only, it won't update your custom recovery, so you'd have to resort to ClockWorkMod for that.

It also won't update your Google apps, you'd have to do it manually, but these are a small price to pay for having OTA CM10 nightlies delivered to you automatically.

You were doing it wrong buddy.
You don't have to wipe your data everytime you flash a cm10 nightly. lol

I thought that the boot loop would happen if i flashed any new mod onto my gs3 so I didn't want to risk it haha. Thanks for enlightening me :D

You have to wipe data/factory setting only for the first time you're upgrading to cm10.

When changing between different roms or a major update to your rom, it is recommeded that you wipe data/factory reset but for incremental updates to the same rom, it is not necessaries. If you end up having problems without wiping, go wipe it! :)

cool.
I am running AOKP JB 4.1.1 on my Gnex. just updated to build 4 this morning. I use Rom manager and that makes it very easy to update using my mobile data.
btw can anyone tell me hows CM10 in comparison to AOKP jb 4.1.1. i love AOKP over any other rom but have not used cm10.
