Cricket's 2010 lineup leaks, the Zio gets a price and release date
Looks like Cricket will bring some pretty nice devices to its customers this year, including the Android-based Kyocera Zio M6000, which will of course be the star of the show. The information comes from an officially-looking device presentation, so we guess there a good chance that things may turn out the way they are here.

The phones are divided into several categories, here they are:

In the most basic, "Good" category, Cricket is apparently planning to add the Kyocera Domino S1310 candybar at a price of $99.99.

Then come the offerings that will take their places in the lower "Better" category. These include the Cricket CAPTR II A210, which is scheduled for arrival in July, and the Cricket MSGM8 II A310, also in July, which brings, of course, a full QWERTY keyboard and a 1.3MP camera.

The higher "Better" category devices will introduce "smartphone type features" with the QWERTY-equipped Cricket TXTM8 3G A410 in September and the Kyocera RIO E3100 touchscreen candybar in November.

Making our way to the "Best" category (which is obviously not the best, because there is one more after it), we find the Samsung r631 with a touchscreen, QWERTY, 2MP camera and full HTML browser, along with the Brew-based Samsung r710 (touchscreen, 3MP camera). The former will make Cricket customers happy sometime in Q3, while the latter will wait till Q4.

Finally, the "Smartphone" category, housing the most advanced of all Cricket handsets, will introduce the Android-powered Kyocera Zio M6000 for $299.99 in July, and the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8530 in August, for $349.99. Initial information pointed that the Zio would be available at a price below $220, but it appears Cricket will try to take as much as possible out of it.
