Cricket's QWERTY handset lineup is being supplemented by just one thanks to the MSGM8 II which is the follow up to the original MSGM8 handset released last fall. Although it may exhibit a similar appearance to its predecessor, the MSGM8 II offers a larger and more spacious portrait style QWERTY keyboard, 220 x 178 resolution display, 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, web browser, and of course all the conveniences of SMS/MMS functionality. Customers can grab themselves this recently announced handset in Cricket stores today and online for the reasonable price of $79.99. However, it's worth noting that they're offering 60 percent off the handset right now – placing it at the exceptional price of $29.99 online; so you'd better hurry before this offer expires.

When I first recieved the phone, I was suprised at how sturdy it was. The display was large enough to read and the widgets were somewhat impressive. However, the keyboard is toooooo small and the widgets are not that interesting. And of course the Cricket Web browsing was non existent w/this phone as cricket web is boring as well.
This phone is built by Quaalcom and that was a brand offered by Qwest at one time. The other thing is the camera, no zoom or other types of adjustment offered w/camera, pictures real blurry and come on, who wants to make your subjects stand still for a picture?...I am getting a new line of service w/Cricket and found this site to review the Cricket TXTM8 3G, only because its 3G. Will see.
