Cricket announces immediate availability of the touchscreen Motorola Evoke QA4

Cricket is now offering customers of its unlimited, no contract service a chance to pick up a touchscreen device with a full feature set. Starting Thursday, customers can purchase the Motorola Evoke QA4, a touchscreen handset with a 2.8 inch display with a virtual QWERTY keyboard and a physical numeric slider. The phone also comes equipped with a full HTML browser, RSS feed reader and one click access to social networks. Widgets take the user to MySpace, YouTube and Google among other sites, using Cricet's 3G EV-DO network. Memory can be expanded through the microSD card slot on the unit.
The phone is available online now at www.mycricket.com for $299.99 and will soon be offered for sale at Cricket stores and dealers.
