Cortana for Android updated with birthday reminder, other improvements

It's been exactly one month since the last Cortana update, just enough time for Microsoft to bring new features and improvements into the mix. Today's Cortana update adds two important new features and some enhancements.

But first of all, let's mention that in the latest version Cortana has learned a new skill an improved her performance and stability. The new skill is called birthday reminder and allows users to keep track of their friends' birthdays.

Another important new feature is the ability to connect to multiple calendars, which really comes in handy on Android devices where there are so many calendar apps available.

According to the official changelog, the update should also improve meeting retrieval experience, as well as location-based reminder accuracy. Last but not least, several crash bugs have been implemented too.
