Cornerstone splits your tablet screen to allow work with three apps at a time, might get into CM9

There is a drawer for two apps on the right-hand side of the screen, which can be called at any time by tapping a thin bar. The drawer then pulls almost to the middle of your tablet's screen, squishing your current interface, and you can interact with all three screen parts now - the default one, and the two apps in the drawer that sit on top of each other...

edit:

Cant do it myself. Its outside of my scope. Its not just an overlay or an app, it has to be shoehorned into the ROM as it fundamentally changes some of android's core settings. There is a thread between cyanogen (steve K) and the devs at cornerstone highlighting the fact that google is not happy about the app since it changes android at some basic levels, and is threatening to remove the market from cyanogenmod if they implement it. Hopefully they can all come to an agreement about it. Or even better, have google buy up this company and implement it into the system themselves as a permanent ICS feature. That would rock.

Remove the market from CM?

They already sent a C&D to the CM team long ago to stop including google apps in the ROM.

Of course, getting Google Apps installed is as easy as ticking the box in ROM manager to install them after installing the CM ROM, but still, they are not included in the ROM as is.

This make alot of sense. IT's almost like having different windows but I feel it's much more android-like. Windows are kind of a, well windows thing. As in Microsoft... Ha. But yeah, this feels like it belongs more. Kudos to cornerstone.

And CM with an uppercut to Windows 8. Windows 8 stumbles back and is on the ropes...
To be continued

But seriously, this was going to be one of the cornerstones for Win8, and if Android gets it before them it could take out the hardcore market. Ouch (No pun intended btw ;)
