They are comparing Storm user satisfaction to the 3g iPhone not the original and they were released about 4 months from each other not a year. I'm sure you would have no probelm with the survey if the Storm had the better rating and there for would not find it irrelevant. All the post on here would be alot different...

I don't like either, but come on, Doc! The 3G was Apple's second phone ever. How many phones has RIM released? Stop making excuses for them. RIM released a phone that was not ready for market, period.

The Storm is just a BB with no keyboard so it is like a 6th gen BB. Rim has been launching phone since 2002. So I guess a 2nd gen phone is beating out a 6th gen phone? The BB OS has been out for 6 years so that is far from 1st gen. HTC does not consider the Touch a first gen phone becasue it is not. All they did was remove the keyboard.

and that gives apple an excuse for doing the same. and from what i remember, the first AND second iphone has way more issues than the blackberry storm just being a little slow. also, i would expect more from a company that makes "perfect" computers. both iphones had some pretty serious issues when they came out, more so than the storm.

Listen to yourselves. What's the biggest complaint about the Storm? The touchscreen and acceleromoter. Now until you guys can give me a Blackberry with either of the two, then you can't say this isn't a first generation.

QQ all of you..... both the storm and the iphone suck! I would take the samsung omnia, or the touch diamond over either of them any day. I wouldn't use an iPhone or a Storm if you gave one to me free!

I can't type with the iphone so I got the Storm. Here are the problems I have with it, however I'm not giving it up and can deal with them. The screen doesn't always turn when you want it to....even if you keep turning it and ask it nicely to please rotate. Instructions for the Storm are very difficult to get and I'm sure there is much more the phone can do that I'm aware of. The keyboard in the vertical mode can drive you to drink, and if you don't know all the applications that accidentally got turned on, the battery is gone the same day. It would be really nice if the instruction book that came with the phone was actually for the phone. Try following those instructions and you'll wonder what phone they're talking about. Ok, that out of the way I LOVE IT. Yes, it has problems, but oh is the screen clear, it's easy to read, I can get my mail from different accounts quickly, and the sound is clear. Oops, I forgot a couple of other problems. When the battery is low, the phone keep switching back and forth between handset and speaker so pray you aren't on a really personal call, and the camera.....well, click all you want, it will take a picture when it wants to.

I actually love my storm! I do like the Iphone but it is very hard to text on and I do enjoy not really having to worry if i swipe the screen, oh no what did I just hit... I do notice the problems with the phone like the changing to landscape mode and not changing back when I want it to but thats no big deal when you can use the phone in both modes the same exact way. I will agree with anyone on here who is commenting on the camera feature on the Storm!!! It does take pictures whenever it wants to after you hit that button to take the pic, which is annoying but funny at the same time. I do experience the ramdom restarts which do get really annoying but I find a way to tell myself how it benefits me. If the phone is running a little slow its better than taking the time to take the battery out and waiting for it to restart, and has not done it while I'm actually using the phone, only when its sitting in Standby. The Removable Battery, Removable Memory, Removable Sim Card & Insurance Option Are a big factor as well. The internet speeds I do find are definetly comparable to each other but Coverage Does Count. Other than the little things which I see are getting fixed more and more with every update (Just like the Iphone), I absolutely love this phone and probably would not give it up for any other phone on the market currently (except maybe for the Nokia N97), and dont hate the Iphone, its just not for me (Even On VZW)!!

i have not owned the storm, however i have owned the iphone. I rescently have a bold and i love it, the storm i find it funny that they made a WHOLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE commercial about how it clicks haha.. but I must agree w/ people that you know we are dealing w/ 2 totally different pieces of equipment really, you have in one hand Blackberry which has been making phones for i believe someone said almost 19 years.. and on the other apple which has made 2 phones.. overall I'd say they are both great phones, though i haven't tried the storm, i know the iphone is amazing...be it the internet, or the picture its Awesome face it, it pretty much revolutionized the touch screen phone..and incase you haven't noticed EVERYONE now is doing the whole touchscreen thing.. so id say that apple made a big change in the way phones are now.. i respect both company's they are the 2 biggest right now and i look forward to some of the devices they come out soon..

what does extended network mean? when i drove straight from upstate NY to tampa, i only got extended network once when i was in maryland and west virginia. when i called #MIN, it said welcome to US cellular your call did not go through.

extended network is i guess like roaming.. its where you have coverage but its not as fast or as good of coverage as say the edge or w/e verizon calls it.. like if you go on the internet the d/l speed is slower and you can 't do like the autopay or u know like u said the #min.. its pretty much just means ur roaming and using other towers..

i have to say, the iphone is far more advanced, you think about it people say the iphone killer, well it woudln't be an iphone killer if the iphone wasn't the top of the game would it?? why not the storm killer? or the dare killer? because iphone revolutionized the touchscreen... think about it all the time the other phones have had to "perfect" the design they should have dethroned the iphone.. you can't say the storm is better than the iphone because the storm has had time to improve on the flaws that the iphone missed on same w/ any other phone.. the iphone is the original you can't compete w/ the original... its like mj and kobe or lebron.. seriously guys mj wins all the time...

ive never owend a zune but i have seen them.. i like microsoft.. thoug hthe xbox kicks booty hahah... awesome i mean halo. like the best mulitiplayer game ever.. haha
