By the way, the Droid X has held the flagship status for quite some time. It debuted in July, right? For a phone, that's pretty long, especially given the faster development cycles.

What, is it not available to upgrade customers? Where can I find a good deal for a Droid X upgrade?!

Try Amazon Wireless. They currently have a deal for 79.99 upgrade for an individual line. Although it's higher than the ad above and lower than what Verizon will offer possibly.

Might want to wait till after January 6, when Verizon and HTC are scheduled to annouce a new 4G phone, supposedly the HTC Thunderbolt (aka the EVO for Verizon).
At that time, I would expect a significant price drop on the Droid X, even for existing customers.
