I think the writing on the wall has been there, it has seemed since the release of G+ that Google wants to make G+ the center of the Google experience, this just seems to be one more step toward that.

I don't think forcing Google+ onto users will be beneficial. They've yet to realize that they can not compete with Facebook or Twitter in the social network game. I think this is a pretty bad move for Google to make. People hate it when they force change onto its users.

Yeah you guys are correct. I don't Facebook or tweet, and don't appreciate being force to use a social network. If anything gives us the option to use discuss or another email provider.

There is more freedom of choice on Google than other major os's. But seems like thats slowly changing. All the problems with the play store, & this is what they focus on ? Do no evil my ass.

Play store finally added option 2 remove apps that have already been uninstalled from device from installed apps list. But every time i scroll down my apps list & delete app from list. It takes me back 2 the beginning of the list. Would take several hours 2 get all the junk apps i uninstalled off the list. Option 2 automatically remove uninstalled apps would solve problem. But Google won't allow that. Stuck with Android since 2010. Under the premise that they would eventually get their os together. & put out the best os they could. But starting 2 tired of waiting.

I might make a Google+ account but that doesn't mean I'm going to use it, I don't need to get addicted to anything else. Just got rid of my FB account. lol

Even though I have a Google+ account, I don't use it, as most of my friends are still using Facebook and Twitter. Honestly, Google+ has some great ideas, but it just can't really compete with Facebook and Twitter at this time. Orkut was a bust, except in Brazil, and while quite a few people have a G+, that doesn't mean that they're using it. Honestly, if your friends aren't on G+, what incentive do you have to use it?

lol...google's way to populate its boring social networking site.... but for me, i use google+ for its hangout! since facebook chat or skype calls, you need to pay extra! :(

My given name already shows up in reviews instead of the nickname connected to my Google Account, with no warning what so ever - that is totally unacceptable!

Also, forcing uses to post under their full name will likely drastically reduce the quality of the comments. The percentage of people concerned with online privacy is notably lower in the kind of people who usually posts whack-job reviews in unintelligible English. Newspapers going from other (semi)anonymous comment systems to force users to use Facebook see a drastically declined comment quality. The whack jobs, downright dumb people and fake trolling accounts post the most comments. The users who debate under their full name and isn't in the other three groups, tend to become frustrated and give up. At leas that's the state in my country.
