Comcast subscribers who are hard-core sports fans can now take ESPN with them everywhere as the popular WatchESPN app is now available to those who are customers of the cable provider; the app offers streaming video from ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3 and ESPNU...

I just don't get why DirecTV wasn't one of the first providers available to use this and still isn't today.....

Watch ESPN and ESPN3 is only on Internet providers. Directv will likely not get it. ESPN3 is one thing I missed when I dumped Charter internet. Hopefully this will change. I have been with Directv for 4 years.

Yes, Android received a much needed update yesterday for Comcast customers but the picture quality is TERRIBLE!!! Not even worth watching over 15Mbps Wi-Fi.

It took nearly 8 months to add Comcast support all the while they are promoting it and they delivered a pile of poo to their Android subscribers.

ESPN ought to be embarrassed with the quality of apps they've released. I'm sure carriers had their hands in scaling down the picture resolution. My MLB.com AT Bat 12 app works great! ESPN not so much truly shameful.
