Codename: Catwalk - here's what we know about Nokia's mysterious aluminum smartphone

0. phoneArena 08 May 2013, 09:25 posted on

Nokia is rumored to have a number of handsets that are almost ready for introduction, but the so-called Nokia Catwalk is probably the most exciting one. Not because of specs or something like that. Nope, after all, its specs are expected to be as good as those of any decent Windows Phone device around. What makes it intriguing is how different it is from the rest of Nokia's smartphone range, as well as from the majority of the market...

Are you trying to correct my average English in order to prove me an asshole and you to be Mr. Sophisticated?

The only thing not to like about the Catwalk is the 16gb onboard storage with no mention of SD slot as of yet. Everything else, heck yeah! Especially since it will finally be available to T-Mobile customers at last!

T-Mo could definitely use a shiny new Lumia. Me, I'll take the 928 on Verizon. Say what you want, I miss that ol' Nokia sturdiness.

And how do you know that? You traveled here from 2014 with a Samsung Galaxy Time Machine?

I ain't waiting another year. The S4 has a great screen and camera, but I wouldn't use it without a well-padded case.

I hope they keep it and offer a special Project Runway edition with a pattern developed by all-star Mondo Guerra!

I guess there's nothing REALLY wrong with the name. But I felt the same way about possibly telling someone I owned an HTC Butterfly. Just doesn't fit my image.

Butterfly definitely wouldn't fly (unintended pun!) here in the US for just that reason. No dude is gonna pull out his 5" phone and say "check out my butterfly!" What was HTC thinking?

They should pick a less girly code name. Catwalk is gonna stick to it forever in my mind.

But their codenames actually make sense. Catwalk it's the slim and stylish one, Laser is the one with a special light (928 xenon flash).

Sent from my HTC "Vigor". Huh?

I like Lumias, but I'll admit that is a weird name for a phone.

As much as I adore my htc One, I've always really admired Nokia's models as well. This Catwalk looks intriguing. Awaiting for its release and tho I won't buy it, I'll definitely go check it out at T-Mobile.

Wow...if only Nokia made android phones....

Windows Phone isn't a bad OS but I prefer Android. Nokia + Android will attract people like me

IKR! I've always loved Nokia phones, but never a big fan of Windows. WP8 looks good, but I'm just not there yet.

Funny how some PA Users dislike your comment when you are just expressing your opinion.... I'm not sure if the dislikes are from trolls or Windows lovers/android haters?

Microsux limiting the maximum usable cpu core at the moment, so they can make various license fee to phonemaker who wish to put more cpu core to the phone, means more money for microgreedysoft....
