For those of you who have spent any time in the root community for Android, you'll know the name Koush. If you don't know, Koush is the creator of ClockwordMod, ROM Manager, as well as a couple of other pretty nice apps. Earlier today, Koush released a beta version of a new app called Carbon, which will allow users to backup and sync app data between devices through the cloud...

That's actually the app icon. Not sure why Koush chose it, but I'm hoping it isn't the final logo.

I don't know why but for some reasons it reminds me Apple logo.

It's definitely a play on the iCloud logo, which uses the same burst gradient effect. I still haven't figured out the name though. Maybe Koush had a bad experience with Carbonite?

Not to nit-picky but Koush didn't found CyanogenMod but he is a member of the team. CyanogenMod was founded by Cyanogen (Steve Kondik). I think you may have gotten it mixed up with ClockworkMod which he did create.

Correct. Koush is a great dev but Kondik=Cyanogen.
