You say that as if its a con... 4g service is a pro. and regardless of its 4g... the evo is the best phone in the market. period. Just got mine this morning and cant put it down. I'm very critical to each new phone I get and I honestly cant spot one bad thing about it. you must either be a fan boy, stuck in a contract, or cant afford it. This really is the best phone in the US. Anyone against it obviously hasn't had one.

The EVO is the best phone on the market? Only until the next iPhone or next Android come out...The Evo is just as good as or slightly better than the Incredible or Nexus One. Typically Android phones just eclipse themselves because another one comes out every 90 days

iPhone lost its "cool factor" a couple years ago. But in a few months I'm sure another cool Android device will surface, but the EVO will still be on top with the updates...so I'm sure EVO owners are not worried about wasting money at all.

For most out there that have this phone now and NO 4G coverage, have fun paying for the extra fee for nothing!!! You sprint people are getting scammed...BIG time!!!!

-1. still cheaper than VZW or ATT. do the math yourself.

ACTUALLY if u live in a area where there 4G is not up and running yet then you DO NOT have to pay for the service! Do your research before you open your mouth. You make yourself seem like a idiot at times. PLUS Sprint is cheaper by far compared to big red and blue. I pay 180 for unlimited EVERYTHING for 4 lines... whereas i would pay 370 on verizon and at&t... So how am i getting scammed? Apparently you failed math class.

Double, please tell us what other phone is comparable to the Evo on another carrier and inform us of the monthly cost to twit. I promise you it will be cheaper that any others out there. In fact, even Sprint's Simply Everything Plan is still cheaper.

I dont get why so many people are complaining about the $10 charge. For one... its still the cheapest data plan you'll find throughout any carrier. 2, that $10 fee that is charged for 4g is going into funds to improve the network so that you can one day have 4g... and 3, if its really that big of a deal to you, I'd recommend you get eBill. If you get your bill online rather than in the mail, you'll save an additional $5 each month so pretty much making the $10 premium service fee only $5. And if that still too much for you maybe you should look elsewhere and try and find a smart phone with the same features for a cheaper price... oh thats right. you wont. :D

I actually really like the Evo 4G. If iPhone 4 and iPhone OS 4.0 wasn't good, this would have been in my hands right now. But as someone already stated, it will either be eclipsed by iPhone or another android phone in the next few days/weeks/months. That's just how Android phones work.

People who went out and bought this phone, what can you say about it? How's the battery life? What size battery? I know my Incredible's battery life is horrible compared to my Blackberry.

Does anyone know if the Motorola Droid Shadow is going to have a faster processor than the Snapdragon Processor?

The Evo is the best phone out right now(maybe even better than the iphone) And I would go out right now and buy it If I didn''t have to pay that stupid 10$ premium fee. And they want me to pay 30$ to use the hotspot tool, are they retarded? Sprint is turning into ATT.

Thank you markemark +1 Some people just done't get it... ...I want 3 acres of land with the purchase of my new home, but I don't want to pay for it... I'm entitled to it.... Idiots.

You must be retarded if you are bitching about having to pay $30 for the hot spot feature. A stand alone hot spot air card is minimum $60 from anyone. And that's with a 5 gig cap. With the Evo's hotspot you pay half as much as you would normally and, best of all, THERE IS NO DATA CAP! Sprint is turning into AT&T? No. You are mentally unbalanced, dipshit.
