Clearer images show off every angle of the T-Mobile G2
Just when the weekend was looking to wind down without much commotion, there were images snapped up of the T-Mobile G2 which showcases every inch of the high-flying handset's sleek looking exterior from every angle imaginable. The T-Mobile G2 is the US variant of the HTC Vision which features some nice hardware under the hood such as a healthy sized 3.7” WVGA display, 1GHz processor, and one interesting QWERTY keyboard that makes you think that something is up with it in one of the captured images. Although it can be believed from one of the images that the keyboard can actually be tilted up, it in fact does not since it's only showing the innards of the keyboard's slide mechanism. Regardless of that, the G2 is shaping up to be the next big thing for T-Mobile seeing that it's going to be the carrier's very first HSPA+ smartphone. Even though the carrier announced that this Android powered device is coming, they did not provide any official images or a release date regarding it. However, it could be launched as soon as September 29th with the likelihood of having Android 2.2 Froyo on board from the start. Just when things were somewhat slowing down as summer is drawing to a close, there is no breathing room for Android's continuous push – even more so now that the T-Mobile G2 is coming.

does any one know if it will have a front facing camera? i think it wud be awesome if it did.. i know sum people might start arguin wit me n be all like all like phone networks cannot handle video calling , and stuff like well i dont need a front facing camera well i dont care because im da type of person that needs a front facing camera since my laptop fucked up so i relly on my phone to make video calls to talk to my clients and family members in other states and i think t-mobiles hspa+ cud handle video calling good because if i can do a perfect video call on my evo and im only getting 2-3 mbps in my area im pretty sure t-mobiles network would be able to handle it better.. since its faster .. so yea does anyone know if this awesome phone will have a front facing camera??

i guess im the only one that thinks it looks like some odd 80's throwback, kinda like the Droid 1 did. Meh. Color me impressed when i see it running HSPA+, other than that, my Vibrant has it killed hands down in everything else. Freaky, i dont see any obvious camera spots on the front, just a light sensor at the top from the pics, so dont get your hopes up.

You all need to get over a front facing camera :/ if you want old technology so bad go waste your time on a DoCoMo phone you'll be far ahead of everyone else for the next 3 years in the united states.
