Cingular tests free calls to AT&T home phones

Cingular Wireless has unveiled that they are carrying out a trial of a new service - Mobile2Home – that will let Cingular's subscribers to phone AT&T (formerly SBC) customers home phones free of charge. Mobile2Home is currently available to Connecticut customers, who have chosen to combine their AT&T local phone bills with their Cingular phone bills. The service, which is similar to the unlimited mobile-to-mobile call packages that wireless operators already sell, is offered for the price of $5.99 a month. Mobile2Home trial is planned to continue until February 25.
