Cingular 3125 (HTC Star Trek) launched

Cingular has finally launched the 3125, also known as the HTC Star Trek - a slim smartphone in clamshell design. It is a quad-band GSM/EDGE device running on a 200 MHz TI processor and Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone Edition operating system. The handset has a 2.2-inch color TFT display, 1.3 megapixel camera, direct push e-mail support, memory expansion through microSD cards and Bluetooth capabilities.

The Cingular 3125 (HTC Star Trek) is available with exclusivity for the major US carrier, currently at a price of $149.99 with a two-year contract.
